From the editorial of G.Versisco on Elevator magazine: “It had been in the air for years, months, weeks and days. The piece of news about the approval and the publication of the future standards EN 81-20 and EN 81-50 for lifts by CEN has come at last. […] To such a flat piece of news during we add two importants dates as follow:
– the publication of the above mentioned standards by 28 February 2015 by UNI;
– the withdrawal and the decadence of the current standards EN 81-1 and EN 81-2 on 31 August 2017.”
